Look for desks, computers and the Camera view
Look for desks, computers and other player characters on the shared call-center floor, then use the desktop's Camera app to see the surrounding room. Your workstation is a simulated desktop with calling and remote-access applications, connecting the work on your screen with the office activity around you.
Recognize the shared call-center floor
Official screenshots show a shared office floor containing desks, computers and other player characters. These are the useful landmarks to look for when you want to understand the space around your workstation. Choose a visible desk or computer as a reference point so you can describe what you are looking at clearly to friends.
Find the work tools on your desktop
The simulated desktop is your workstation view, with applications such as Phone, Camera and remote access shown in official screenshots. Call-center work involves real-time conversations with fictional AI callers and accessing their computers for personal information. When you are orienting yourself, identify the application you need for your current task so the surrounding office does not pull all your attention away from the screen.
Connect the desktop to the room with Camera
Camera is an application inside the desktop that shows the surrounding call-center room and other characters. Official screenshots show its window open alongside Phone, Identity or AnyViewer, putting the office view beside the workstation applications. If you want to see the room while using your desktop, Camera is the application to look for.
Get your bearings at the workstation
- Locate a visible desk or computer on the shared call-center floor to give yourself a recognizable reference point in the office.
- Identify Phone on the simulated desktop to recognize the calling interface within your workstation view.
- Open Camera to see the surrounding call-center room and other characters from within the desktop.
- Describe a visible landmark to your teammates so your directions refer to something they can recognize.
- Refocus on your current work after checking the room so the office activity does not become a lingering distraction.
Understand the hazards around your workday
Workplace hazards include computer viruses, police raids, air strikes and other disasters. Scambaiters also threaten your computer, and the game warns about the risk of catching a virus. Pay attention to trouble on your screen as well as activity around the office, and tell your teammates what you are seeing when something interrupts your work.
The daily quota remains part of the call-center job, and failing to reach it can get you fired. Run-based progression brings increasingly chaotic workdays, with more scams available as you progress. When the room gets busy, a useful habit is to tell your friends whether you are checking the office or concentrating on the desktop, then bring your attention back to the work needed for the quota.
